Promote the health education programs, immigration assistance and other services the African Hope Committee (AHC) and its social network provides to the community.
Create a permanent AHC community liason team to work with and support other community organizations in the New York metropolitan area in achieving their goals.
Encourage community organizations to partner with an participate in AHC program and activities.
Provide leadership in the development of community owned initiatives:
Facilitate focus groups to determine community needs and objectives.
Lead the creation of action plans to meet objectives
Provide guidance and support in the implmentation of action plans.
Assist in program evaluation.
Participate in the implentation of the SOAR strategic thinking and planning program as a demonstration of leadership in action.
